Abandoned and Abused Dog Survives Cruelty

James was born in Nepal and was treated well as a puppy. Life was good in a home where his family gave him love and food. When he grew older, James was tied up in an alley with the garbage all day and night. Every time he broke away, he ran home. And every time, he was retied until eventually he was beaten up and bloodied, left to die.

Neglected Senior Greek Dog Gets A Second Chance

Lucy, a Border Collie/Greek Shepherd mix, is one of two Greek dogs who were rescued in June 2019 and given a second chance with a new home in the U.S. Her story is tragic. She lived her early life at the end of a short chain, often beaten, rarely fed and never touched by humans.

From Street Life to a New and Better Life

Feta is our second Greek dog who was adopted in June 2019 after living in a shelter for three years. She was found on the streets with a metal rod sticking out of her leg. After Feta was injured by a car, she had a poorly placed pin in her broken leg and was abandoned.

Special Needs Dog Adopted by Loving Family

Coyote is a two-year old Spitz dog who was injured by a car and languished on the side of the road for more than a week. He was paralyzed and left with a portion of one of his rear legs severed off in the grisly accident.

Foster Family Offers Home to Dog with Birth Defect

Zana is a young female Doberman/ Whippet mix who was rescued during our Humanitourism tour to Manzanillo, Mexico in March 2019. She was born with a birth defect in her front legs. Although it did not affect her ability to walk, run or play, she was cast out into the streets.

Dog with Paralyzed Back Finds a New Home

Little Ellie was hit by a car in Mexico and left paralyzed in her rear legs. She dragged herself around for over two weeks before someone helped her. The tops of her feet and legs suffered so much abrasion that the small bones in her feet were scraped off.
